Students from 150 schools have enrolled through online registration . But due to Covid reasons only the students of Deoria Sadar block have participated in the competition through their presence.
The district level competition of NCSC 2020 was held under the guidance and supervision of NCSC District Coordinator Shri Anil Kumar Tripathi and the team members of the NCSC.
NCSC is a forum in which young minds and brains are provided with a platform to come up with their scientific innovations and ideas based on research and proven case studies.
NCSC asks the work in two categories
● Age group 10 - 14
● Age group 14 to 18
First age group is junior level group where children of the age from 10 to 14 can participate. Whereas in the second age group, children from 14 to 18 years can participate.
As we all know, that the young brains are full of energy and ideas .But many times they don't get the platform to express their innovative ideas . Sometimes these young children are not guided properly to reach the standard of NCSC forum . Many of the children are not aware of the Children Science Congress . So it is very necessary to bring NCSC into the limelight so that the future of India can get chance to explore their ideas and scientific views in front of not only the people around but also in front of the nation.
In lieu of this , the district level 28th NCSC competition was a huge success .
The students who have participated in the competition have done their best.
The first prize for junior level group was bagged by the children of Ishara Public School , Raghavnagar.
The second prize was won by the students of UP Basic /Government Composite School Pagara .
The third prize winner was again from Ishara Public School, Raghavnagar
The students of Up basic school Pagara came up with the title of - Defecation in open , despite constructed toilets .
The guide teacher who has guided these students at each and every step was Kiran Dwivedi and the problem of open defecation was suggested by Mrs Kshitiz Singh . The guide teacher Kiran Dwivedi has not only motivated them to participate in the NCSC competition but also channelised their thinking towards understanding things with scientific approach. She has incorporated their minds with the Questions like What, why, How and to find the logics behind everything.
Overall with everyone's effort the program was a huge success .
GLIMPSES OF THE COMPETITION HELD AT YUG NIRMAN INTER COLLEGE, DEORIA KHAS
NCSC is a platform where students are supposed to find out a problem in their local area and then to do an experiment related to it. Every experiment starts with an objective,So the students are required to understand their objective first. Once the objective is clear , students can proceed with their methodology to prove the experiment .
Since NCSC promotes science , students are motivated to start with a hypothesis and to work upon it with a scientific approach.
